Devon and Cornwall have had their website attacked by a hacker who was able to replace their homepage with the word ‘Hacked.’

Technical staff discovered that their site was down and immediately took the rest of the Force’s services offline.

Officers have reassured the public that no personal or confidential information was lost and that the operational and command systems were not in any way affected by the breach.
