ioimage has announced the release of the ioicam mmp100dn, a 3-megapixel intelligent video camera with unique picture-in-picture PiP) capabilities for synchronized analytics visualization.

The camera features wide-area coverage, day/night capabilities, and electronic pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functionality. Operable under the harshest outdoor conditions, the mmp100dn is a user-friendly, cost-effective camera that enhances safety and security for government, public and commercial organisations.

Combining powerful built-in analytics, which provide a high probability of detection (PoD) and electronic PTZ functionality, the mmp100dn enables automatic detection and autonomous tracking of intruders, vehicles and other threats. With its unique picture-in-picture capabilities, the camera provides a simultaneous close-up of tracked objects while maintaining a full field of view. Adding such unique functionality to its high-resolution imaging capabilities, the mmp100dn enhances not only security coverage, but also real-time monitoring and verification.

“The mmp100dn represents ioimage`s approach to intelligent video in bringing the high-resolution imaging trend to practical applications,” said Roni Kass, CEO of ioimage.

“By synthesizing video analytics with multi-megapixel imaging in a self-enclosed unit designed and packaged for simplicity, ioimage has successfully introduced a host of innovative intelligent video uses to a wider market.”
