It was alleged the officers had breached standards of professional behaviour when the man, now 44, was detained in Streatham High Road, southwest London in June 2011.

Yesterday’s (December 12) disciplinary panel hearing, with an independent legally-qualified chair, dismissed all allegations against Det Constable Gemma Penny, Inspector David Healy, Police Constable Mark Yarnall and Police Constable Stephen Barton as ‘not proven’.
