A woman who was airlifted to hospital by Prince William after being hit by a police van has died of her injuries. Norfolk Constabulary officers were searching for the missing 50-year-old when their police van collided with her in Hethel last week. She was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by an air ambulance crew including the Duke of Cambridge in his final shift with the East Anglian Air Ambulance. However, she passed away on Saturday (July 29). The Independent Police Complaints Commission has launched an independent investigation.
