Who are we looking for?

This exciting career opportunity is open to exceptional constables / detective constables with a valid NPPF, or OPSPRE part II looking for promotion and substantive sergeants / detective sergeants who have completed Work-based Assessment, with a proven track record of effective delivery.

The process for constables looking to be promoted differs to the process for substantive sergeants looking to join the Met laterally. Substantive sergeants will need to submit an expression of interest and complete an interview for this process.
