The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Strategic Alliance are seeking applications for promotion to Chief Inspector from substantive Inspectors, as well as external applicants seeking promotion and substantive Chief Inspectors seeking lateral transfer.
To be successful you need to have proven leadership skills as well as an ability to deliver outstanding performance for the communities we serve demonstrating a high level of competence at your current rank. All applicants will be selected on an equal basis that determines their suitability for the post.
An information event will take place on Tuesday 8th October commencing at 09.00 hours at Bedfordshire Police Headquarters. This will cover an overview of each force, what we are looking for in our leaders along with how the process will be run. To apply, you will need to complete an application form providing evidence against all the key competencies at level two of the Competency and Values Framework.
The final selection stage consists of a presentation and interview and will assesses both your technical and leadership competencies. The final selection process will take place in the week commencing 6th January 2020.
