Working directly to the Chief Constable, you will support in leading the Force in creating the vision, direction and culture that builds organisational trust and confidence. The successful candidate will have the operational and leadership credibility to help ensure we deliver the best policing service we can for our communities in the 21st century. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a strong commitment to and the highest respect for diversity amongst your colleagues and the communities you serve, and experience of building cross-agency partnerships. A clear understanding of the need for efficient, high levels of performance and a demonstrable openness for change are essential.
Applicants must have successfully completed the Senior Police National Assessment Centre (PNAC) and the Strategic Command Course (SCC). Non United Kingdom applicants must have served in an approved overseas police force rank. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
