The Chief Constable is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced senior police officers who have the passion to serve the diverse communities of Greater Manchester and who have the drive and enthusiasm to deliver efficient, high levels of performance. This career opportunity is open to exceptional Inspectors looking to transfer on promotion.
GMP has recently undertaken the largest IT transformation project the force has ever seen to create a truly integrated system that will place GMP at the forefront of technology within the UK policing sector, enabling the force to provide the best possible services to the communities of Greater Manchester.
GMP needs Chief Inspectors who can instil trust and confidence in officers, teams, partners and the wider community. As a Chief Inspector you will need to contribute to the development of culture, climate and working processes in your area to ensure adherence to standards, and the promotion of accountability and continuous improvement. You will be able to lead in a complex and challenging environment.
The successful applicants will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to make GMP a better organisation, both in the way we treat each other and in the service we deliver to the public based on the 5 principles of the force’s Target Operating Model (TOM).
