Successful applicants will need to be highly motivated with a proven ability to develop and lead high performing teams and operational functions across all aspects of policing.

A Chief Superintendent position in Northumbria Police presents unique opportunities to lead, deliver and influence.  The Chief Superintendent roles on offer are an excellent step for those who want to achieve Chief Officer rank.
 
The Northern Area Command Chief Superintendent plays a fundamental role in shaping operational policing for the entire Force and presents a highly demanding yet rewarding challenge.  

Working closely with the Chief Officer Team and partners the Communications Chief Superintendent is in the forefront of driving improvements in engagement and responsiveness to the communities we serve.
