Servoca Resourcing Solutions are looking an Intelligence & Risk Analyst to work on the Intelligence and Risk Management Unit for one of our private sector clients.

Job Purpose:

- To be a member of a team of Intelligence & Risk Analysts - To deliver strategic and operational intelligence and risk products

- To proactively and reactively gather, analyse and assess information and intelligence from a variety of sources internally and externally.

- To produce intelligence and risk products that inform, direct, drive and task corporate strategy, business planning and operational activity.

Key Responsibilities:

- To provide an understanding of intelligence and risk management, and the strategic and operational impacts on the Private Security Industry and its Regulatory Regime,

- To respond to and manage tier two information and intelligence from a variety of sources internally and externally.

- To analyse and assess information and intelligence and manage tasks and activities in line with the strategic and operational risk models.

- To gather and research information and intelligence where required to produce a complete product.

- To identify high risk companies, individuals, regions, patterns and trends.

- To develop and produce intelligence and risk products that target resources effectively and efficiently across the desk and field based compliance and interventions teams and departments.

- To utilise the techniques and methodologies identified by the National Intelligence Model.

- To support the Senior Intelligence and Risk Analyst by contributing to strategic intelligence and risk products.

- To undertake complex research and analysis at strategic and operational levels, linking information and intelligence to identify patterns and trends.

- Support live investigations and operations, ensuring all real time information and intelligence are understood and actioned.

- To be proactive and take the lead for, and develop expertise in, specific areas of responsibility and regions and identify and drive forward solutions

- Ensure procedures and practices comply with SIA Policies, the Data Protection Act, the Freedom of Information Act, the Human Rights Act, and all relevant legislation.

Ideal Candidate:

- Knowledge of Nationally Recognised Intelligence Analyst Training Programme

- Experience of working as an Intelligence Analyst in a law enforcement or regulatory regime.

- Have an understanding of The Private Security Act 2001 and the SIA regulatory products

- Practical understanding and experience of legislation relating to the control and processing of information, particularly the Data Protection Act, the Freedom of Information Act, the Human Rights Act.

- Practical understanding and experience of working with the principles of the National Intelligence Model.

- Practical understanding and experience of the development and production of effective and efficient intelligence and risk products.

- Ability and experience to influence and negotiate with Key Contacts.

- Practical knowledge of i2 intelligence software including; iBase, Analyst Notebook, Data Mapping and Data Miner.

Pay Rate: £28,200 plus London Living Allowance of £3,020.04 equalling a total package of £31,220.04
